Step 1: Create an EasyChair Account

Title of Proposal

Abstract(please limit your abstract to maximum 300 words)
A concise description of the purpose, methods, and implications of your scholarly work.  This will be used to evaluate and place your work in the appropriate session.  Include all required components as outlined in the Proposal Guidelines.  If your paper is subsequently published as an article in the journal, this will serve as the Abstract (may be revised prior to publication). 

Title of Proposal
Presentation Type (paper, panel, roundtable presentation, book presentation)

Type a list of keywords (also known as key phrases or key terms), one per line to characterize your submission. You should specify at least three keywords.

Theme Selection: Select the theme that best categorizes your work from the list.  Theme selections will be used to begin the process of organizing presentations into sessions. Proposals related to topics other than these themes may also be considered.

The submission should be in one of the following formats:
Word document (file extension .doc).
Word open XML document (file extension .docx).
Either upload your submission or tick "I will submit the paper later".

Vol. 7, issue 2 of The Romanian Journal of Baltic and Nordic Studies has been published online. Please, access it free of charge here


Starting: in groups: from 1st to 13th of August. Individually courses are held all summer.
Duration of the course: The Course runs for 4-6 academic hours per day, with Language practice for 44 hours and Lithuanian history, literature and ethnology for 6 hours.
Languages of instruction: English, Russian, French, Italian, Lithuanian.
Place: in the center of Vilnius – Gediminas ave. 26.
Certification: students will receive a Lithuanian language Summer Course Certificate.
Separate groups for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students are planned.
During the courses various cultural program are planned: excursions in Lithuania, degustation of traditional Lithuanian dishes, ethno cultural events, visiting some museums, creative workshops with famous Lithuanian artists.

Classes take place in small groups.
On Saturdays it is possible to go to excursions with parents.
